Work Experience

Union Street Media

Web Developer - Summer 2005-present

Responsible for the development of CMS templates and real estate websites using WordPress as well as USM's custom CMS. I was also responsible for providing project estimates to the sales staff as needed.

Accomplishments

Lead development of all templates for the Union Street Media real estate IDX system.
Built and launched somewhere around 100 websites powered by WordPress or Union Street Media's custom content management system.
Developed a semi-custom design and CSS framework to allow real estate sites to be designed and built more quickly, creating a new, less expensive product class for USM to sell.

Front-End Web Development

I've been immersed in standards-based web development for many years. I have extensive experience with converting design mockups into working websites. I'm a browser compatibility specialist with deep knowledge of the quirks associated with legacy web browsers. Clean front-end code is my obsession and pixel-perfection is my aim.

Back-End Web Development

My passion is front-end development, but that doesn't mean I'm afraid to get my hands a little dirty on the server side. I have experience with PHP both implementing existing software and developing new applications.
